Thinking Big

I love working with women who dream big. They have a natural positive energy and passion about them. Ideas are always scrolling through their mind. When approached with a challenge, they can immediately think of many possible opportunities instead. They have a standard of quality and excellence because they believe what they are doing is important and can see down the future road of success. They are usually generous souls and care about making a difference in people’s lives.

These kinds of women inspire me. I learn much from them. Here are just a few things:

1. Be authentic – Dreams are usually a product of who you really are and what you really care about. Be honest about them and let that authenticity drive the natural connections to people who resonate with you.

2. Dig deep – When times get tough, don’t quit. Most of the time, there is just a short emotional, financial, or resource hurdle, but with patience and perseverance, a solution is usually found.

3. Go after it – Time is ticking. If not now, then when? There is a quote that says, “People get out of the way for someone who knows what they want.” When these dreamers decide to think big, other women step up to follow and get on board with their products or services. Passion is contagious.

From Dreams to Reality

As a natural born encourager, I love coming alongside these women and cheering them on. The road is not always easy, and most people do not care about your dream as much as you do. I like being the one who says, “Yes, you can! Go for it!”

I also know that I am a great “distiller” of information. I have known many dreamers in my life with great ideas that never came to fruition. However, because they chose to dream, many amazing things did happen. With my clients I have learned how to zero-in on the great ideas that are worth pursuing and put the plan in action to tackle them one project and task at a time. One of my past customers has said, “You make dreams come true!” What a privilege!

Shout-Out to Women Who Think Big

There are a few women I have worked with who are dreaming big today. Let’s cheer them on:

My-Cherie Haley of Shimmer & Bliss – Be on the look-out as this fashion model grows her line of hand-dyed air-silk scarves in retail stores around the country. This fall she is coming out with a new kids’ line of scarves, a new winter line of colors, and an Exclusive Scarf of the Month Club Program for her loyal fans. Wow!

Betsy Dewey – Betsy decided to run for Congress this year for District 25 in Texas! She has a passion for liberty and preserving our freedoms as American citizens. She speaks with conviction and inspires others to educate themselves on government policies.

Susan Seay of A Powerful Moment – Susan had an amazing debut event of Fashion Meets Faith Austin and has launched a new online program called Fashion Meets Faith Online with speaker Shari Brandel. Susan plans to continue coordinating many future events bringing in national speakers to benefit women in her area.

What dreams would you like to pursue? What stops you from thinking big today?

  1. Sonya,
    You are so right.
The hurdles are just that, something to get over and
hopefully make one smarter and stronger.
    Thanks for all your encouragement!
