It is fitting that this website project began after a mountain bike ride with the pastor’s wife, Sabrina Humphreys. She had graciously offered to help coach me through my first attempt at mountain biking in Breckenridge. I made it through alive, but was so wiped out towards the end that I asked Sabrina if I could treat her to a burger and beer as motivation to help me through the final stretch.

She agreed on the burger, and we had a great after-workout dinner, talking about life and getting to know each other better. I found out that she had been wanting to redo their church website for a while after their last web-designer shifted careers.

I was excited to help. Great Divide Calvary is a special church in the mountains of Colorado, serving a community that loves to play and engage life fully. Jimmy and Sabrina Humphreys know the pulse of this adventurous group and have a heart for meeting people where they are at.

An Engaging Website

They wanted their website to be a place where people could get to know them better, see upcoming events, and access past sermons. They wanted people to be able to sign up to volunteer and to share prayer requests.

We added many photos of families and young adults who attend the Great Divide. We showcased all the different sports activities they offered, including snowboarding, moonlight ski/snowshoe hikes, mountain biking, and softball.

The blog will be a growing place where they can update sermon notes and where people can share their own stories.

I’m grateful to have been able to help with this project and stay involved with their website updates and Google posts. It’s awesome to hear people say that they found The Great Divide on Google and visited the website when they come to visit for the first time!

Review from Sabrina at Great Divide

If I could put 10 stars, I would. Sonya has a unique and understanding way of capturing the heart of our desires and putting them into digital form. She is nothing less than a superhero in our minds and we would recommend her to everyone for communicating our hearts to the world through our website.
